About Me

I have always been a creative person. I started playing music and writing songs when I was twelve, although not very well at first. From then on, my relationship with music was intense and cyclical. I was either playing every day or I would not pick up a guitar for months, sometimes even years. It often felt like all or nothing.

In the summer of 2015, I bought my first camera and have tried to keep one with me ever since. Photography became my steady companion. It is a way to document my life and practice creativity in small, everyday moments. It has taught me to pay attention to light, detail, and feeling.

After finishing my bachelor’s degree, I was unsure of what direction to pursue. I was walking dogs at the time and had just started my own therapy to work through long-standing anxiety, depression, and trauma. I was immediately drawn to the safety of that space and to the presence my therapist held. I saw the steadiness and care she offered, and I knew I wanted to become that kind of safe space for someone else.

I began pursuing my Master’s degree in the fall of 2019. I started seeing clients as a trainee in 2021 and graduated with my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 2022. I worked as an associate in Yorba Linda supporting teens and their families. In 2025, I began working with trauma-impacted clients in Long Beach. In 2026, I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Creativity has followed me into the therapy room. I help clients approach old problems in new ways, find language where there was none, and create space for growth where things once felt stuck. Healing, like art, requires courage, imagination, and a willingness to see something differently.
